Fujitsu is an office complex in Dallas, Texas that was built in 1996 that Meeks Design Group, Inc. had the pleasure of designing the beautiful outdoor space for the area. Although this project is one from the past, it is still one of our favorites. The design was ahead of its time, with a very modern look.
When creating an office complex design, we like to keep in mind the employees that will be using the area. Whether they are taking a lunch break or walking the campus to spend time thinking and planning a project, having a clean and serene area is imperative.
The sleek walls and curved walkways add a modern look to the project. This design will allow the office complex to continue to look good years after its original installation.
All of the greenery incorporated provides plenty of shade and a sense of nature for the employees when they are taking a break outside, allowing them to escape for just a bit, while promoting creativity. It also makes it easy to maintain since the plants were picked based off of their location, hot and humid for most of the year.
Another part of this design that makes this one of our favorites is the raised terrace. It creates an aesthetically pleasing area for employees to sit on and eat lunch, visit, or have meetings.
Even with the project being one of our oldest, it still remains a favorite. The design was ahead of its time and is one we still draw inspiration from today.
